St Albans Brickwork is proud to be working on HG’s prestigious residential-led mixed-use development at East Village, part of the London 2012 Athletes’ Village Masterplan for client QDD. Building No5 is a key component of this ambitious project, providing much-needed affordable housing.

With over 69,000 ft² of internal floorspace, the building consists of 48 one- to three-bedroom apartments spread over six upper floors. The ground floor is designed for community use and includes a retail unit.

Our role in the project includes delivering high-quality brickwork for the striking brick-clad façade, which is enhanced with Portland stone banding at each level and features cantilevered balconies. The structure itself is a concrete frame with a unique triangular wedge shape.
